AGUA PLUS FEATURED AS THE PRIMARY BEVERAGE SPONSOR OF THE 2023 UNITY CUP
MAY 22, 2023 – Agua Plus is pleased to announce the Company’s sponsorship of one of the top Cricket tournaments hosted in the US, the 2023 Unity Cup. Taking place from May 22nd to 29th, with the finals being played on Memorial Day, the Unity Cup is a week-long event featuring professional players from all over the world competing to take home the championship.
Sixteen teams will compete at the Bolen Park Cricket Fields just outside of Washington, DC where spectators can take in the event live. All matches will also be streamed live on YouTube as well as on live television internationally through GEO Super. The quality coverage features 8 cameras, drone coverage, umpire reviews and in game highlights.

The week-long tournament, in memory of Inderjeet Virk, features players from all around the world in one place. Countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South Africa, England, Australia and New Zealand will all be represented. The sixteen team tournament is sanctioned by the main governing body of Cricket, the International Cricket Council (ICC) as well as USA Cricket. Each team is placed in one of four groups, with one team being crowned the 2023 champions after the completion of the final on Memorial Day.
Agua Plus alkaline water will be the featured beverage on-site at all matches and affiliated events, for both players and fans alike. The company is also being featured on national and international broadcasts of the event as well as in the social media communications of the event host, 22 Yards Cricket Club.
