PLUS BRAND FEATURED IN REFED SUMMIT GUEST BLOG SERIES AHEAD OF 2024 FOOD WASTE SOLUTIONS SUMMIT
JUNE 3, 2024 – Plus Brand is excited to share that, as part of the lead up to the 2024 ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit at the Baltimore Convention Center on June 11th to 13th, ReFED is featuring an exclusive Summit Guest Blog Series. The online blog series provides a platform for innovative companies participating in the annual summit to share valuable information about the food waste work they are doing. As Gold and $25,000 Scholarship Sponsors of the Summit, Plus Brand was invited to participate in the Blog Series in order to explore the topic of confusion for ReFED readers and how it contributes significantly to food waste among consumers.
The Plus Brand guest post titled ‘Is Confusion the Last Unexplored Frontier of Food and Beverage Waste in 2024?’ is now live on ReFED’s website and is being sent out today via their marquee monthly newsletter ‘The Surplus’. If you would like to sign up for the monthly ReFED newsletter, you can do so by clicking here. The article, written by Plus Brand Co-Founder and COO Adam Gauer, introduces the context in which a large percentage of the waste that takes place each year is linked to end user consumers and explores the role that confusion plays in the startling statistic. It provides a useful backdrop to the new BCC Research report and survey on the topic which is set to be released exclusively to ReFED attendees this coming week and to the public at large shortly after.
Members of the Plus Brand team will be hosting a booth at the event where they will be sharing the report findings along with the unique All-Scratch!® technology solution; the industry’s only sustainable solution to the problem of confusion over mass-produced CPG products and to whom they belong. We invite everyone attending the event to stop by and experience the technology first hand with Agua Plus, the only alkaline water to feature the unique waste reduction technology. Paperless downloads of the industry-first BCC Research report on Confusion and the role it plays in creating excess waste and elevated health risks will be available to those who visit. We look forward to seeing everyone in Baltimore and working together to continue to progress towards the goal of making excess food waste a thing of the past.
