Plus Brand engaged third party research and data leader BCC Research along with global survey leader Futuresource Consulting to help quantify the problem of confusion amongst CPG products like Agua Plus. An in-depth survey of 10,000 US households was used to produce industry-first data and insights.
WHAT DATA WAS NEEDED?
Across the nationally representative sample, BCC and Futuresource set out to determine: How often are people encountering the problem of confusion? When they do, what is their response? Why do they choose that response? And lastly, how likely would they be to purchase a product with All-Scratch!® as a solution to confusion?

Our 2024 partnership with ReFED designates Plus Brand as a Solution Provider as a result of the impact All-Scratch!® technology has on reducing excess waste caused by confusion. As a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to ending food loss and waste through data driven solutions, ReFED is doing an incredible job of collaborating with government and business to bring heightened awareness to the food waste crisis in both the United States and globally.
In the U.S., a staggering 38% of all food goes
unsold or uneaten – the equivalent of 145 billion
meals annually. It’s valued at $473 billion,
roughly 1.8% of U.S. GDP, and it has the same
climate footprint as the entire U.S. aviation
industry (passenger, commercial, and military).
As the only bottled water company to be considered to be a Solution Provider when it comes to prevention of food and beverage waste caused by confusion, Plus Brand is pushing to lead the way towards a meaningful change in direction of statistics like these by 2030. Collaborations with leading organizations like ReFED, local and federal government and other impact-focused businesses are bringing about a shift in strategies along with policies that incentivize and encourage prevention solutions like All-Scratch!® technology.
