AGUA PLUS PACKS A PUNCH AS THE OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF THE BENAVIDEZ BROTHERS IN THEIR HEADLINE BOXING EVENT
NOVEMBER 12, 2023 – Agua Plus is ready to rumble as the brand enters the boxing ring as the primary sponsors of David Benavidez and Jose Benavidez Jr during the highly anticipated double-headlining bouts at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Headlining the night is undefeated two-time super middleweight champion David “The Mexican Monster” Benavidez who will defend his Interim WBC title against unbeaten two-division world champion Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade. Also on the card in what is billed as a WBC Special Event, brother Jose Benavidez Jr. will be taking on undefeated WBC middleweight world champion Jermall Charlo. The headlining fights take place on November 25th at 8pm ET at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Training out of Benavidez Boxing in Washington state, run by their father and long-time trainer Jose Benavidez Sr, both brothers take their physical and mental preparation very seriously. With a record of 27-0-0 (23 coming by KO), many in the boxing world believe that a win on the 25th positions David for a much anticipated title bout against Canelo Alvarez to determine the undisputed champion at super middleweight. Even boxing legend Mike Tyson, who has been credited with giving David the nickname “The Mexican Monster”, has been quoted as saying no one even has a chance against him in his division.

David’s brother Jose Benavidez Jr. will fight the undefeated WBC middleweight world champion Jermall Charlo in a bout that’s sure to be just as exhilarating. With a record of 28-2-1 (19 coming by KO), Jose’s presence in the ring is a testament to his drive and determination. Having been told by doctors after a 2016 incident involving a gun-shot wound to the leg that it would take him 2 years just to be able to walk again, Jose was proving everyone wrong as he was back fighting in the ring again within that time frame. Outside of the ring, Jose is recognized for his role as Felix Chavez in Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III, released March 3rd of this year. With both fighters hungry and dialed in, this fight night will be one to remember.
